Model:Nissan Micra Year:1997 Mileage:96000 and counting Tax: End of August MOT: December '13 Location: Quarry bank, West Midlands (DY5) Price:£700 open to offers Contact details: message through here, text or call 07739 509 231 Righto here is my cheap and cheerful winter/work runaround with a twist. 1.0 litre engine, exhaust manifold has been opened out, 1.3 inlet cam fitted by previous owner, goes well for what it is, great on fuel, my 150mile per week commute costs me around £20-£25 Deep dish steels based on standard Nissan 14inch steels with reversed centres. 4 decent Michelin tyres. Coilovers on the front, cut springs on the rear. probably a smidge too low, osr wheel does just touch the arch over big bumps, decent panhard rod adjuster bush might sort it though. decent nick, but not mint as you'd expect, seats could do with a good scrub or an interior swap if you wanted to make it nice, but perfectly fine as it is for a runaround. New front pads and wiper blades fitted recently, new nsf CV joint earlier in the year, both sills were welded up (new o/s outer sill fitted, inner sills repaired) for the last mot all solid now, new downpipe and centre section were fitted when I got it last November. spec includes keep fit windows and a door pocket on the drivers door only, thats pretty much it! all in all an economical runaround with a few cool mods, surprisingly fun to drive!!!!!! Red top fitted FTW lol

How were the wheels made? Did they just cut the centres out and weld them opposite way round?

I believe they were made from two sets. centres saved from one set, rims from the other, then welded back in the other way round. Davey above can prob tell you more. The only down side to this is that although they are deep dish they are still quite narrow, but they look the part and you still get to buy cheap tyres!
they run true, no leaks, no vibrations (even at 80 plus on the m'way)
Its a cracking little beast, Its ace in traffic and it'll hum along at 70 - 80 quite happily on the motorway.

Loved this the first time around - if I remember correctly, it was missing the exhaust from the downpipe though, has this been replaced? Looks great, colour is spot on as well.

Exactly right about the wheels. I actually got compliments from my tyre fitter on the quality of them. It wasn't missing it had a side exit. Which while fun was hilariously loud and totally insane for road use.

if I remember correctly, it was missing the exhaust from the downpipe though, has this been replaced? I binned the side exit affair, (although I think I still have the length of pipe if you wanted to recreate it) It had a new down pipe and middle section when I bought it. The old back box and cat were salvaged although there wasn't much cat left in the cat lol, it conveniently filled the hole between the downpipe and middle section. The cat in the downpipe was enough to get it through the emissions. colour is spot on as well. Yes it is! it's so curse word its cool! Guy called Val own this before you or? Davey1991 owned it before me. other than that I have no idea of its past. There is a few receipts and odds n sods by way of a history. Think I have a few odds and ends that can go with it too, original rear shocks and an alternator if I can remember where I put it!
