Hell all,
I frequently have a load of bogging, wet mountain bikes in the back of the Golf, so it likes to be steamy which is a bit of a pain. Does anyone have any tricks to help reduce build up of moisture?
Thought about getting a big pack of the silica pellets that you get in packaging, but anyone got any better idea's? or had any experience with it
Thanks

Bike rack?
I've heard of salt being used, but I don't know how effective it is, and personally I don't like the idea of putting salt near my car!

Salt in a tub with holes poked in, stretch a pair of tights over the top before putting the lid on
Put it in another pair if you want it super spillproof
Small rectangular tubs work better as you can put it in the door pockets etc

Dried rice in the an old pair of tights stuck under one of the seats out of sight did the job for me. One of those old wives tales I heard once somewhere but I was really surprised at just how much less condensation there was on cold mornings.

My brother in law runs an old FX4 Taxi and swears by old newspapers, he always has a pile of them on the parcel shelf, found this out a while ago when i had a loan of it for a week, thought i'd do him a favour by cleaning the old bus, binned all the newspapers and he went mental Never tried it myself buit i've heard a tray of Cat litter is also good, just don't leave your car door or tailgate open when there is a cat in the area

My Patrol is a right pain for moisture and condensation in the colder months, which freezes on the inside of the glass when the temperature drops.
I use a silica gel moisture trap designed for caravans. Seems to work alright - there's always water in the bottom of it to empty out. It was about £6 but the refills are cheaper, and it lasts about 3 months.
