The Merc transporter was parked up near the F1 paddock, so hard to spot through the heaving crowds of proles thirty-deep, lol. Great pics as always, Mr Bizzle. You saw plenty I missed, as per! I was well narked off that there was no sign of Hemi Under Glass on the Sunday, I'm guessing it broke on one of the previous days? They could at least have left it in it's bay as a static display. Likewise the Auto Union, no sign of that either. Annyoing since they're two of the cars I'd specifically want to see. Never mind, always worth the money, though I think this is the last year I'll be going on the Sunday. Just tooooooooo bloody busy  |

was in the Churchill paddock from 0700 to 0900 and hemi under glass was there as spoke to the lady giving away free posters on their pitch
managed to look inside and view it close up
never heard it start but saw it run two demos during sunday up to 1400 pm whilst i was stood opposite main stands
impressive bit of kit albeit i believe the hemi under glass at goodwood was a replica according to internet wiki pedia
rat trap dragster very impressive
saw that fired up very very loud but a true legend that one
everything running or static was awesome
too hot for me
thinks grandstand seat for the main action next year

lol, I must have been in the wrong place at the wrong time all day then. Double curse word  Grandstand tickets make it a £100 day out, that's the trouble. I mean don't get me wrong, for what you get to see it's VFM, especially when compared to the price of F1 tickets (or Rolling Stones ones, for that matter)but it's still a lot, y'know? |

best investment i made was a one pound portable seat from a boot fair
came in well handy
stayed watching hill climb for four hours so a sit down was welcome
thats the only downside to the grandstand you appear detached plus i missed a lot but saw what i wanted
its great to see cars ive only seen pictures off and to hear them running
might be expensive but for petrol heads its the same as the olympics for sports fans i suppose
luckily live fairly close well within an hour a way
bit too hot for me but not a sun worshipper
overall best money spent this year on events
supervan was good and the quick transit with pipe rack and looking standard but very quick
light weight e type id seen before and ferrari gto very rare
yeah to be able to see such icon cars makes it money well spent
