OK, I only bought this on Sunday but a car I've been after for ages has become available so I feel I should at least make an effort to raise the cash to go for it! If I can sell my BMW 740i I shall be keeping the Lancia, retrorides.proboards.com/thread/153692/740i-excellent-condition-essex-1200So, the car, Since the pics were taken I've fitted a genuine Dedra Integrale 'HF' grill badge and planned to swap the 17" alloys for genuine Integrale wheels (If I still have the car at the end of next week this will go ahead but the price will rise). If there's any interest get in touch and I'll give you a run down on condition but basically, Good bits, 11 months MOT, not currently taxed but can be at your expense (just insured it fully comp for £86!) Beautiful 8v twin cam engine, loves to be reved! Bad bits, Rear N/S wing is bubbling (rest of the car is pretty much solid) Slight knock from front suspension (been told probably top mounts) I'm asking £595. price is firm and slightly less than I have 'invested' PM or phone on 07796 333003 if interested

Is this actually an Intergale as you've advertised it, or are you just calling it that because you've fitted a badge? I thought the Integrale model would be worth a bit more than £595? Didn't it come out in 1991? Does this have 4WD?
Sorry for all the questions but your advert is a bit confusing.

Well if you look at the photo's he has supplied, I think it's pretty clear which model it is. Title of thread is clear, also. (Year, Make, Model + engine size) then the Integrale part. I read the "Integrale evocation" as a little bit tongue in cheek, if that's any help?

I'm not wrong, you just don't agree with me. There's a difference!

Ah, but to someone like me who doesn't know diddly about Lancia's and even diddlier about Dedra's then the how would I know either way what model it is? The title is clear enough, but Intergrale "Evocation" could be confusing as it could be saying that is what the model was actually called though by looking at it again the "Evocation" can be seen as refreshing/looking like/bring back memories of a Integrale? Anyway we're splitting hairs, Dedra's look fantastic and so tempted but need to be wise with the cash I have, I need more cash to sample these lovely temptations on this board!

The fact that it has 2.0ie written down the side kinda gives away the fact it isn't a integrale, that and it wasn't released until '91.
What this most likely is is a "celebration" model of Lancias rally success.

The fact that it has 2.0ie written down the side kinda gives away the fact it isn't a integrale, that and it wasn't released until '91. What this most likely is is a "celebration" model of Lancias rally success. As Toe has also said, not all of us are rivet counters when it comes to Lancias, so I wasn't to know that a 2.0ie couldn't be an Integrale (seeing as my limited research leads me to believe an Integrale has a 2.0 injection engine....) The title clearly has 'Integrale' which by its very inclusion means the seller is wanting to imply something about it being an Integrale. 'Evocation' for all I care, or understand, could be some kind of model of Integrale (e.g. like a BMW M3 'Evolution') and why is it for me to have to work out that it's NOT an Integrale and be made to feel as if I should know? It's not clearly written down the sides and the seller has actually made a point of mentioning putting 'genuine' Integrale wheels and badges on which could be construed as him wanting to return it to 'stock'. Like I say, I'm not an expert but was just wanting to check if it was or wasn't, seeing as it's advertised as such. I didn't think I'd be patronised into submission for not knowing all the 'obvious' facts. If it was being sold as an 'Integrale replica' or 'look alike' or other such wording, then there wouldn't have been any confusion. But there isn't and it shouldn't have to be a game of 'research the finer details of lesser known 90's Italian cars' to establish that the car being advertised with 'Integrale' clearly in the title, in fact, isn't. It's a very, very cool looking car. It's probably worth every single penny and every single pound of the asking price but I feel my questions were warranted seeing as there is obviously something misleading in the title to those of us who aren't self confessed Lancia afficionados. Good luck with the sale of the car Gunscrossed but can I suggest you make your advert a bit less misleading?

If Mystery Machine is stupid for being confused, then so am I. Alternatively, if two intelligent people with a very good overall knowledge of cars are confused by the title, maybe it's because it is actually confusing. Remember, this isn't a one-marque forum and whilst we don't expect owners to dumb down their listings, it is reasonable to assume that potential buyers might not have a thorough knowledge of the car in question. I genuinely found myself thinking 'I always thought that Evo stood for Evolution, that's interesting'. As Mystery Machine says the fitting of 'genuine' badges and wheels also added to the confusion. Does it work on BMWs too? BMW M3 Evo(cation): Since the pics were taken I've fitted a genuine M3 grill badge and planned to swap the alloys for genuine M3 wheels. ^^ If you tried that on here the BMW-correct police would eat you alive! ^^ :-) Good luck with the sale.

Thank you, that's not at all patronising, in the same way that this reply isn't at all sarcastic. Good luck with the sale of your Dedra with an Integrale badge and some Integrale wheels that you haven't fitted 'Evocation'. And 'Patronising' = www.thefreedictionary.com/patronisingAnd 'Sarcastic' = www.thefreedictionary.com/sarcastic(this message was written from the point of view of a disgruntled and slightly offended English speaking car enthusiast rather than a representative of the Retro-Rides forum, the views and sarcastic humour contain within it are not necessarily shared by the Retro-Rides moderating team)

'I'm with stupid!' I've looked at this ad a few times and was under the impression there was an 'Integrale Evocation' model from the title. My experience of 90's Italian cars is pretty limited - A friend had an Uno Turbo ie, So i expected all ie's would be turbo. I guessed after this question was ignored though that it was probably not what the title suggested.. Is this car turbo charged 4x4 looks nice
