Looking for views on what to do with a bike which once started out life like this.. and now looks like this I make no apologies for the finish, the state of some of the welding or anything else! Lengthened forks and frame, re-angled seat post. All strong enough it would seem, hasn't failed in over 6 years of hacking about, dropping curbs, lardy mates etc. Widened handle bars. Sturmey archer 3 speed hub, which up until last week (when the bike fell over and split the little chain into it) was operated via the frame mounted shifter. Padded sissy bar Sprung Brooks saddle. Anyway... Haven't got a use for it anymore, can't transport it to shows (it's over 6ft long and I have no roofrack), which is a shame, as it would be right at home next to a ratty motor. Would like it to go to a new home really, but have no idea if anyone would be interested in such a beasty, or what it's worth. Abuse, thoughts, offers?

Would anyone like it?
I've been offered a partially melted snickers and handful of conkers before. It's starting to seem like a fair deal now!

I have absolutely no real use for it, but I do love it! I can just see it being used as a hack for some of the guys to do the food run to Sainsburys and back from Area 52 on a play weekend.
As for value? I really have no idea but reckon I could better your previous offer. How about a fiver, an *intact* and still sealed Double Decker (a rarity at A52!) and some of the infamous Area 52 stickers?

Double Decker's were never really my thang. But a Boost, or even a Fuse (remember those?) and we're talking.
I'd happily donate it to Area 52, perhaps an excuse to make the pilgrimage some time! hmmm

Not this weekend I'm afraid, would love to come along though!
Although if someone is passing by Reading and wants to drop by and pick up the chop, they are welcome to, would make for some fairly simple tinkering.....

Thanks Dude and sorry you can't make it this weekend.
I might see if someone is able to bring it up to the Gathering from your neck of the woods if that's OK? if you PM me your address I'll send you over the stickers, the money and the chocolate (it's all about the chocolate!)
Cheers for now....
