I used to own one in white... Brilliant car. Good on fuel, insurance and what not. I paid 475 for mine with a little rusty scuff down the passenger side last July. Seats are insanely comfortable, surprisingly light steering and fairly good engine. I'd get it in my opinion. they're rare as now as well. Only issue is glass, I had my rear windscreen shatter in winter and could only use a polycarbonate replacement. But I'm with timbaker... lows and wheels would make it sweet.

for lows, the front will take golf / polo / corsa coilovers with little work

dunno what the back is on these, but either coilovers or chopping will get it down

they are a bit fugly compred to b11 wagon varients imo, but still a cool old bus, as it's a 1.6 it's got the big tax, but only minor negatives

4x114.3 too, so the world is your oyster for wheels too

Snap it up imho, hard to see it being worth any less when you sell it (so long as it has MOT)

I think he's saying that an interesting and clean base should be modified in a way that does it justice. It would be a shame to do a dodgy paintjob and cover it in stickers with no real meaning. I'm all for home adjusted suspension though

I've just done a nightshift, but before I go to sleep I'll add that it doesn't need expensive wheels to look cool - a set of 14" early scimitar plain steels with some caps or even just chrome wheelnuts would look ace

also I think minilites look gash...
