Jeez, that is depressing.

My introduction to American cars was on the front bench of a '52 Packard 200, the passanger seat of a RHD '38 Business Coupe and the rumbleseat of a '38 1604 Super 8.

It is interesting to see that, where longbridge has long since been flattened, at least the Packard buildings themselves have survived and could be reappropriated.

A couple of the guys on another forum I use live in Detroit.
They have said how in the last 15 years, a lot of places are absolute no go areas, even in broad daylight and how 3 and 4 bed houses go to auction with a reserve of $500 and remain unsold. it is like a third world ghetto in the richest country on the planet. How the hell did this all happen?
