My first one got written off in Southport when a 90 year old woman in an ancient Fiat 126 drove into the back off it.  My second was more of a project that never really got finished.   There was always something special about sitting low behind that dash looking out over that bonnet. |

Seen one of those in the industrial estate where i had my first job back in the late 80's, a black one, used to park at next unit, seen (heard) it rumbling in and out a few times, did'nt think much of it at the time just thought the 2600 badges and left hand drive were a bit strange  Found this pic of my other 3.0S (had this before the Amber one i posted), had a set of genuine 7x13 RS fourspokes on it, Ashley exhausts (sounded like hell unleashed  , was a bit rough when i bought it, ran it every day for two and a half years, the Scottish winters nearly killed it, was rougher when i sold it  , DVLA check a while ago showed it as SORN so hopefully it's been restored.  |

Jesus, think I'm about to have an accident looking at some of these!!! This is mine, bought last year (almost a year ago) to be a project, been off the road since January & currently in bits waiting for me to get my backside into gear. Motivation is slowly coming back but so is the winter  My advice? If you want one, get one! Love mine to bits, never want to sell it lol |

Here's a slightly old shot of my daily. A few changes have been made since this photo but it's one of my favourite photos taken so far.  DSCF3481 by Victory Over All, on Flickr It runs a 2.0 Pinto on bike carbs, drives about 50 miles most days of the week and I love it. It even came with a keyring that has "The car you always promised yourself" on it! I don't think I'll ever part with it. |

This is a winner of a thread! You should definitely buy a 3.0S. They're great, and i reckon in a few years time they're gonna be out of reach for a lot of people if prices keep going the way they are... Anyway, here's mine. Getting used daily at the moment.  |

I have had loads over the years, I'm a proper Essex boy, from a 2.0 V4 mk1 though pinto powered cars, a very late, very clean 3.0S i bought in a pub for £30 (Yes thirty pounds!) up to a 2.8i, I appear to be lack photos of all but the last 2.8i,  and a his and hers shot of it with my girlfriends 2 litre Laser that eventually became a donor to uprate her Yellow Mk1 escort,  |

Loving mine after a years ownership. Always fancied one since my brother had his 2.0GL in the late 80's and after running a modern for a year,i was getting bored and needed to get my daily retro fix back. Got some money together from a ppi claim and it turned up on ebay at just the right time.   It's since spawned a little offspring lol.  |
