I'm listing this for a neighbour of ours as it might appeal on here as a cheap daily / unusual starter classic.
Details below are correct as far as I know but suggest you have a chat with him to make sure I've got everything right
It has full tax (but it's exempt anyway
), 10 months MOT, is in regular use as his daily and is ready to drive away.
He's asking £1000 which sounds reasonable to me for a nice ready-to-use old motor.

The car is just outside Bishop Auckland, Country Durham DL14
I've not checked it over but have seen him running about in it for a few years and it is very clean and sounds nice and quiet.
Bodywork looks very solid, I didn't see any rust when I had a look around it. For a guess it had a respray not long before he got it and it's lasted well. No idea what it's like underneath.
Chrome is fine but I noticed one of the rear over-riders has silver tape over it so may be a bit shabby, one mirror is missing.
Interior is clean and tidy but the drivers seat has a couple of holes.
Just realised I didn't check the mileage when I had a look around the car - will update the ad when I find out. Apologies
The only problem I know about is the battery sometimes used to go flat (could be a good excuse to replace the dynamo with an alternator), this may be fixed now as he fitted a new (not cheap!) battery very recently.
Spec / performace / common weak points on these? I've got no idea but Google will be able to help you

It's for sale, please don't ask unless you are serious about buying it - I like the chap and am hoping by listing it on here he won't have to deal with the "what's your best price" timewasters I had to deal with when I sold my daily recently
