Haven't been out today, but went up to Guildford yesterday and saw half a dozen lovely Austin Healy 3000's on the motorway heading up there and a couple more in Guildford itself, guessing maybe something at goodwood or similar? My 58 A35 will almost certainly be the oldest thing I see today, don't get much traffic up this road...

Current fleet: '58 A35 (half mine) '67 11 window splitscreen vw (half mine) '77 mini 1000 (not quite 1000 any more!!) '98 E300 estate, rusty but seemingly reliable, fast-ish tat hauler. eventual engine donor A35 van, or whats left of it after it lived in a field for many years

FWD version. There was a 4x4 for sale on ebay this week seller says its the most rarest of all the RS models as ford pulled the plug on them in the 90,s due to high insurance cast. Suppose it could be plausible.

Suppose it could be plausible. Just a thought, is the Fwd version built on the Sierra floor pan like the Escort Cosworth was?

You have to bare in mind a lot of people are tucking them away for winter, not many of us run them through it!
The oldest thing was probably my 1989 Escort!

Apart from my Amazon, I see a VW bus most days, can't remember reg/year. Sometimes see another newish one with the new horrible appendage nailed to it's face. Sometimes see a dropped Caddy, and saw a nice Series 2 Landy the other day.

On my trip to Sainbury's I followed a 1963 Minor Traveller, then let an H plate Mercedes 190E turn right, followed an 93 Carina and finally met my brother who was as usual driving his E plate Nissan Sunny.

A beige 1980s Skoda Estelle. It's a local daily and runs in all weathers, flat out, all the time so I can never get a photograph of it since it's travelling somewhere between the sound of light and noise.
