As you can see, it needs a lot of work - a minimum of inner and outer sills, front valance, the front floor pans and the rear inner panels and the rear 3/4 panels and spats. The OSR is particularly bad. I was given a pair of slightly earlier NOS 3/4 panels when I bought the car. These can be had by separate negotiation at the second price listed. I also have a good used front valance which I will include at both prices.

Mechanically it's pretty good. There's a small leak from the NSF sphere, but it rises and falls as it should. The accumulator looks new and I fitted a new Lucas coil. Most of the heat exchangers are in the boot and the spare wheel's off the car for the moment to allow for some better access to the engine bay.

It runs but I think a minimum of new plugs and leads would be required and the points re setting. I drove it round private land in Birkenhead frequently. Starter occasionally graunches, and the exhaust is very rotten. Tyres are a mixture of old Michelins and Firestone F-560s.

V5 in my name.

No MOT and tax, obviously. The car will need to be trailered away by your arrangement. It can't be A-framed for obvious reasons.

Lack of replies could be due to the price/time of year.....Not many would take on a project of this scale with winter looming.

To be fair, there are only a handful of members on here with the skill and time to take on a project like that, and only a percentage of those are going to be any sort of Citroen fan.

It's quite a limited audience.

I've always fancied a GS Break since I was a nipper, I guess they've all but disappeared now. GLWS.

I think what people mean to say is that asking £700 - £900 is a joke!
Its a basket case, rotted out in every possible area it can rust in!
The only value i see is perhaps if somone wanted a few interior bits. youve got to be realistic, its worth a fraction of what your asking!

how rude, yes the car needs work no one is denying that it's a rare car now and with a bit of work will be a cracking little motor, it's listed as a project and has a fair asking price.

I've seen this car and it needs work, but it's far from a 'basket case'. There are seams/corners needed doing, it doesn't have whole floors/panel with gaping holes.
It runs fine and is very nice to drive.

I used to own this car, its been this way for a good few years now and obviously has got worse, I had to sell due to family berevement at the time. I'm just surprised that the 3 or 4 owners since me havent actually done the work.

Although i believe its now been sold through e-bay.

Fingers crossed it gets the owner it deserves

I'd like this to go to a good home but breaking it for spares is looking all the more likely.

Are you ready to start breaking it? How is the fuel tank as mind needs replacing as it is damp around the seam.
