	Hey y'all! While since I've been on here. Buying another EK as a winter beater on Friday and want to have a bit of a laugh with it, think I'm gonna go for this look: Also wanna put roof racks/flashing beacons etc on it like this - where do I get stuff like that from?: Seems to be loads of variation in paint colours and prices. Anyone recommend a decent matt NATO green/olive drab like in the pics I've posted? Preferably el cheapo too And the best way of stencilling stuff onto it? Print from microsoft word and cut out? Any ideas of what to stencil onto it? I'm thinking a big star/lightning bolt on the doors and bonnet. EK3-D15Z6 as some kinda serial number on the rear side windows. (that's the chassis and engine codes). Possibly something to do with zombies/apocalypse etc. Found this paint, seems decent. 5 litres about right? Olive Drab paint

	I painted my old Sierra.... ...using paint I got from Cobbaton Combat www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/vehicles.htm IIRC Bruce who owned and build the Delica and the MX5 in the photo above used the same paint,5L will be loads. I originally painted my car with rollers which didn't give a great finish although this could be due to my impatience and lack of skill. Thankfully a mate of mine gave it a blow over to get a nice finish with a proper gun and compressor. The paint in the link looks fine. Loveing your plan go crackers with stencils too!

	2.5 litres gave me enough to give my van 3 coats with some to spare, Applied using a short pile mini roller. So 5L would be too much for a Civic IMO. Same stuff as the link but I went for matt grey instead
	Siggy too Biggy. Dirty Diesel Peugeot Partner HDi van. Lows,Wellers and dents... The abused workhorse. Scarlet red 406 V6 Coupe, The occasional waft-mobile.

	I'm not after a particularly amazing finish tbh, want it to look a bit ratty and post apocalyptic.... Sierra and van both look awesome! I'll probably just get the paint I posted, don't fancy paying a tenner for postage from that cobbaton place, cheers for the suggestion though. I'll just get 2.5l then! Also gonna get a flashing beacon and a load of camo net. Anyone have any suggestions for anything else?

	I think if you want authentic military effect you need to apply with a yard brush ! Leave mud and other dirt in situ - paint over them. No less than 20 layers required. Well that's my experience of genuine military paintwork on Land Rovers Paul H
