Hmm, I can see where you were going with it, but car graf paint is REALLY hard to pull off I reckon. Unless it's done really well, with carefully considered lines, colours etc., 9 times out of 10 it'll look shat.

I've seen it look really good, there was a team at BugJam a couple of years back painting vans (and charging £150 or summat!) and they were really good. I've also seen it look really appalingly bad, like you've been raided by spraycan-weilding schoolkids on a 'community art' project.

Hard to say how yours was going to turn out as the photo is WIP (he says, sitting on the fence!) but I think for it to turn out good, you have to appreciate and work with the lines of the car.

The 'good' ones I saw were more pictoral, with large expanses of colour and then more of a 'tag' feel to the text, instead of just being one large word. This however would only likely work on a large flat-sided vehicle.

If you want the 'urban' look then how about a few choice stencils? I know we've been there before with the crazy octopus but there's always the possibility of fewer legs than eight!

Our lot whas doing some stuff at Whitenoise '06, it pee'd it down most of the time but managed to get a bit done. Was done for fun and for free, most of these vehicles were up for resprays in the future.

Hey this one lives down my street!! Its still got its graffiti paint job, the other side has some massive writing on it, don't know if that was added later. Looks awesome!
