	I have bought a bmw m30 engine on ebay which needs lifting and securing onto a pallet at the sellers home in Edinburgh. There is a gearbox as well which is seperated from the engine. I had contacted the seller previously to see if he could pallet it for me to arrange a courier, but unfortunately had no reply so i took a chance and bid. It turns out he does not have an engine crane so cannot move it (its a heavy 6 pot lump). I don't think he will have a pallet about either so it will mean picking one up beforehand. Is that something anyone is able to help with? I know its an awkward one, but its worth an ask before i give up on the idea!

	You're able to manipulate an M30 on to a pallet without a crane. He just can't be bothered - and is probably unhappy at how much his engine went for. Where in Edinburgh? We've pallets, cranes and a forklift - along with several M30s here. We are only 20 minutes from the western fringes of Edinburgh, but over an hour from the Far East side. If it is this side, I'll run out and do it got you. As weegies, there will be, of course, the Harthill tax for any journey east of Harthill.

	A quick end to this request. Following the much appreciated offer of help, when i told the seller i would be able to collect... the engine and gearbox had suddenly been sold to someone else this evening!
