Integra Type R 96 spec £3100
This has been a pleasure to own, with the excellent handling and b18c vtec engine it really is a great drive. I have owned the car for around 18 months, unfortunately its time to move on and finish my other project hence why I am selling. I want a little more refinement for everyday driving.
I'll start with bad points:
Crunch into 3rd above 6k.
Some light rust on rear arches and a bit on drivers side top of boot/roof.
Paint is not great throughout with scrapes on the spliter etc.
Good points:
No smoke or oil burning (genuinely!)
Tein coilovers (Just refreshed with new spring seats and a load of copaslip)
Gen 1 Spoon N1 (this has no plaque but was told its correct for a gen 1) Makes VTEC even more fun!
raceland harness
whiteline rear arb
mugen pedals
Toad alarm with spare key and fob
Front end has been rebushed
Excellent wheels with prada spec2's
Pads and discs are excellent
Modified air box and K&N filter
Hel braided brake lines (red)
282 brake upgrade
shift light by gauges (used a RPM gauge with shift light but gauge is hidden behind centre console)
During my ownership I have always kept on top of servicing. Along with previous owners. There is a big folder full of receipts for various jobs.
I have done the following service bits:
Engine oil/hamp filter every 5k, just changed at 125k on clock
just changed gearbox oil (I read that this could help with the crunch but it has not changed)
New clutch master cylinder
New rear pads
New rear caliper
Seats refreshed one had a new bolster as it had sagged. In the picture the drivers side is slightly dirty, I will clean this asap
full g3 and polish
Undersealed/waxoiled/cavity waxed (dynax)
Inner arches protected and sealed
Cam cover refreshed
new iridium plugs, rotor arm, cap
In the folder of receipts the clutch was done at around 90k and all belts/water pump at 105k (these are clock figures not actual vehicle mileage as its easier to work out when things will next need doing).
It was on 88000 kilometers when imported so I assume it was converted on import and is now on 125k miles. So 90k in miles. Not a lot for a 1996 car! This is going up though as I am using it every day.
MOT until March and tax runs out at the end of June.
Does not currently have a radio fitted. Will try to source one.
Any questions please don't hesitate.
