What's the name of the bit of a compressor that the couplings for the airlines are bolted to? The regulator knob and pressure gauges are also attached to it.
Reason for the question; I've snapped a coupling off and need a new one.

If its the bit the airline plugs into, its a quick release connector, trouble being, there are several different types, common ones being PCL. the type most garages seem to and UNI ( afaik ) often used in workshops and the style most cheap compressors and tools come with. Probably best to stick up a pic of broken part to help identity it. Ttfn Glenn

Sounds like the manifold. Pics would help.

Most fittings are 1/4 bsp, a trip to a plumbers merchant should be able to help if you take the broken bit along to show them, might not have identical but should be able to mix and match. If the broken part screws directly into tank it may be 1/2 bsp. When you are there pick up a roll of ptfe tape for sealing the joints. Ttfn Glenn

It's taken a while to get around to it but this is the part in question. The casting is about as brittle as a jacob's cream cracker. The part that screws into the tank snapped off when I tried to undo it. The compressor is a Wolf and I'm struggling to find any contacts for them.

I can supply a mini regulator c/w gauge, I've got a selection of T's and reducers to fit, give us the size off where original manifold screwed into compressor and how many outlets you want and il see what I can do pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=170692076817&globalID=EBAY-GB........but the cheap eBay thing you've found is cheaper, but will break again lol

I'm slightly torn because it was only a cheap compressor in the first place but let's see. I only need a single outlet. The fitting on the tank is 1/2" BSP, the fitting for the pressure switch assy is 1/4" BSP.

I think thats made from lots of melted down mini screwdriver and spanner sets from christmas crackers .
