	This is my Grandad and his first car... Just trying to figure out if and what type of Austin 7 is might be? My dad doesn't know and thought you guys could help maybe? Year or specifics would be a great help Heres some other pics I got out of the photo tin... Somebody's stolen escort my dad photographed in 1986 I think My Dads old 1100 mk1 escort in the mid 70s... Apparently it was awful and even with another engine transplant it was still awful.... Replaced with a triumph spitfire that was much loved. For some reason we bought another 2 escorts after that and I bought 2 myself ... This was our mk4 (bumper off for some weekend restoration ) I thought this was ace when we had it late 90s... Went for scrap and was replace by a mk2 golf gti Mk3 at Chesterton race way Stoke, they did some stunts with it and then it got crushed by a big foot truck with some other cars

	That's a pre-war Morris Minor from the looks of it!

	Nay 100 percent but it kinda looks like a Morris more interested in him in overalls, and some hangars in the background Was he in the RAF?

	Yeah I did a bit of googling and it's definitely a Morris , thanks for all the help on that! He was an engineer at Johnsons tiles in Stoke-on-Trent , my Dad did a bit of work there too but that photo must be late 50s about 57 we think.. The hanger in the background is where they used to assemble things we think. He was in the Navy in ww2.
