I'm building a Hustler 6 kit car, but having trouble bleeding the brakes since I've added a powertune remote servo to the front brakes. If I pump the pedal a few times it firms up a bit, but when i leave it for a few seconds it goes to the floor again. They were Ok before fitting the servo. Any ideas how get all the air out of the system, I've bled them using a eazibleed and a one man draper kit but still the same. Any help please - Thanks, Allan

not sure how pressure bleeding would work on a remote servo , but id say get a mate to pump brakes and persevere (sp) till they work , make sure theres no moody bends in new pipework,.

Thanks, Pipes are all kink free, but I will find a bod to pump the pedal and try that. When a helper is pumping shall i lock the bleed nipple at the end of each stroke? (all sounds a bit oo err missus)

One method I use in such situations is have somebody press down on the brake pedal whilst undoing the union on the output of the servo. Just enough for fluid to weep out and then tighten before pedal released. During this time keep bleed nipple on brake calliper closed. Place plenty of rags to catch leaking fluid ! Do this a few time then bleed at normal at brake end.

DO it the old school way with a helper pumping the peddle, start with the brake that is furthest away from the servo and work towards it, make sure the handbrake is OFF. Is there a breather hose attached to the servo?

have you made sure there's no fluid leaking into the servo? Just because it's new, doesn't guarantee it's not broken
