following on from my other thread about the exhaust - retrorides.proboards.com/thread/163514/pug-106-exhaust-rotted-spilt - i took the car to quick fit so they could get it up on the ramp and price up etc.
when they went to move the car it wouldnt start (they said that i had left the lights on)
so there was a guy in an astra next to me who had jump leads...... tried to jump the car and nothing.
I noticed next to the battery a key in what looked like an electrical cut off, so i tuned that, the car fired up but the headlights & tailights were flashing and the passenger indicator was on solid.
Turned the engine off, turned key under bonnet back to original position, started the car and the same thing! eventually the headlamps started flashing so i drove the car home.
Locked car with the fob, unlocked, started and it was fine, no lights doing funny things
Anyone know what might have caused this or is it just good old French electrics?
The car is phase 1 pug 106 1.4.
Its got central locking which i assume has been fitted after market
