Breaking a UK white Subaru Impreza for a friend. This was a lovely example which sadly got hit by a drunk driver.
Front end is toast, but almost every other component is available
Recent work carried out prior to crash:
Initial fault: coolant system over pressurizing, radiator burst resulting in overheating.
1). Renew radiator and test operation of coolant system. Found head gaskets blown. Engine requires removal for inspection
Radiator: £73.00
Coolant 5 litres: £25.00
Labour: 2 hours
2). Removed engine for inspection. Confirmed head gaskets blown and visible damage to bottom end. Advise full rebuild. Customer opting for 2nd hand replacement engine.
Labour: 4 hours
3). Find known good running low mileage (65k) Sti engine. Strip down and inspect, rectify any faults found, bring engine up to Subaru service standard including new timing belt, spark plugs, oil and filter.
£750.00
4). Swap all auxiliaries from original engine onto new unit.
Fit customer supplied;
* exhaust manifold (1.5 hour)
* cold air induction kit with pipework through wing (2.5 hour)
* modified TD05 turbo (1.0 hour)
* red fuel injectors (different seals and design req's adaptor kit, rebuilt fuel rail) (1 hour)
Fit STi engine (4 hours)
Labour: 10 hours
5). Customer ordering Alloys to arrive at unit during engine build - meet delivery driver, unwrap alloys, check for buckles etc - no good, repackaged and returned. Check 2nd set of wheels, ok
Labour: 1 hour
6). Set boost limit on TD05. Carry out full running tests. Car making good power, no fuel, air, oil or coolant leaks. Pulling very well, no hesitation from turbo. Engine mechanically very smooth.
Labour: 1 hour
7). Fit customer supplied red injectors with fitting kit. Advise against use of adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Remove intercooler and pipe work to fit customer supplied intercooler - intercooler too large and wont fit with V3/4 inlet manifold. Rebuild original intercooler.
Labour: 4 hours
Invoice summary
Labour total

I'll be the responsible party for breaking this, and a price list for most of the major parts will be up shortly. In the meantime, any other parts needed just drop me a PM.
