1997 Honda S-MX £SOLD

I've owned this car since the tail end of last year. It's been fantastic, and we were looking to keep it longer term but we've changed to a newer Honda Jazz as it's easier to fit the driving adaptations my girlfriend needs. Seats fold flat to form a bed (and a comfy one at that), would be a nice vehicle for car shows & festivals.

*(clock is in KM but I have a printed vinyl converter that comes with the car, just needs fitting)

Cosmetically it's is pretty good condition, with a couple of blemishes on the paint work. The wheels do let it down somewhat as a previous owner has introduced them to the curb quite frequently, wheel refurb or new wheels recommended. Tyres have plenty of life of them though. The only other niggle I can think of is the autobox kickdown, maybe it needs adjusting as sometimes it feels a bit erratic. It has a CD player, sat nav is built into the dashboard but isn't hooked up (I don't think it would work in Europe anyway). Number plate is included.

Could be interested in this. Got a few questions first.

1. Does the car come with any service history, either prior to or during your ownership?
2. How many previous owners does the car have?
3. It's there any advisories on the last MOT?
4. Pictures seem to be showing one single headrest. Do you have the others?
5. Pictures show tax disc until June. Have you already returned the disc or would you do a deal with the remaining tax?
6. Is the auto box switching gears smoothly and at the correct rpm?

Sorry for all the questions but I think these info would be relevant to your sale.

Finally and on a more specific need: do you know if the rear bench can be removed easily from the car or is it a bolt off job?

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. This car is now booked in for MOT on Thursday morning in my village.

There's a sticker inside the drivers door with a cambelt change date and mileage. December 2010, mileage 96851km

1. There's a service history book with it but only one stamp at 10k miles, I don't know whether it's the right book for the car so it's best to assume there is none.

3. Fuel pipe corrosion and TRE dust cover deteriorated but preventing ingress of dirt
4. It came with one headrest, the rest of the holes have blanking plugs.
5. Disc has been returned as insurance was transferred to my new car.
6. Other than the kickdown issue it seems okay to me, that said the 2 auto cars we've had previously have been CVT so it's a bit different.

I'm unsure about the rear bench seat, I'll have a look when I'm next at the car (car is on my dad's driveway)

I have no more information on those, whether they are fit at the factory or not I don't know sorry.
