Fronts are 9.5J and rears are 10.5J I'm not looking for crazy stretch as i think it looks lethal and police will love me.. So a happy medium would be nice. I've been told 185 60 13 for the 9.5j and 195 60 13 for the 10.5J but i think this is going to look too skinny, but i've never been down this route before so any help really is appreciated.. Adam

You wont get anything that doesn't look mega stretched on a 10.5" wide 13" wheel. Even 235/45 Kumho trackday tyres will look stretched, and they're a couple of hundred quid each.

What's looking like the best then price wise? something along the lines of 205/215 and 45/50?
Thanks

i've got 205/60/13 on a 9" wheel, and that is about the last affordable wide(ish) 13" tyre, and that's allready stretched (80 euro a corner overhere for a decent make).

I have the 235/45 Kumhos Stealthstylz mentioned on the rear of my Escort, fitted to 10x13 Wellers, as you can see they are stretched a bit but not too bad, still too much for me though and the rear looks undertyred compared to the front (205's on 8's which have a larger rolling radius) I have found out AVON tyres do super wide 13" tyres, haven't found out prices but i'm guessing they wont be cheap. As well as the racing slicks and wets they do a road legal "all weather tyre", size i was interested in is a 9.2/22.0/13, recommended for a 10-11" wide rim, that tyre translates roughly to a 265/45/13, the 22.0 being the rolling radius which is the same as a 205/60/13.

Any tires that will fit these will either have a ludicrous amount of stretch or huge sidewalls (or be incredibly expensive).. the wheels are just so wide!

make them a sensible width, or get some others made up and sell those.

Anything that's available cheaply (205/60 probably widest) will he a ball ache to get on. When the wheels are banded you end up with a huge tyre well so getting them to seal enough to pump up will be difficult.

205/60 is the widest, cheaply available tyre for 13" wheels. Trust me, I looked when I was thinking about having some 13s banded to silly wide.
205mm is 8 inches - and that's the widest part of the tyre when mounted on a 'normal' wheel, not the tread. So when mounted on a 9.5" or 10.5" wheel there will be a LOT of stretch.
Bear in mind also that a 205/60 has a MASSIVE rolling radius - check they'll go under the arches. The only low-profile option in terms of wide 13" tyres is a 195/45, and I doubt you'd be able to stretch that onto a 10.5" wheel...

I don't know what way the law is in england but in ireland a lot of people use 2nd hand rally tires for wide 13s

These are the 'correct' tyres for that sort of wheel size.. Unfortunately for you I don't think any one makes them any more, and part-worms are rare as rare thing. Fitted to a 10x13.. I *could* be talked into selling them
