Good day to you fine reader , you find your self at the beginning of a journey, a journey fraught with fun thrills and excitement, that is if you are up for a challenge.
The challenge that arrives is to take over the quest that I have failed. my quest was to full fill my ambitions and desires of building a kit car based around a classic mini running gear. The reason I failed in this quest is that time has run out for me.... no not in a bad grim reaper way, as in 50+ hour weeks with a new job and just not having time to move this forward.
So what do you need to finish this quest, time ,and tools. That’s it really, I have more than enough parts to finish it , 3 engines (one is a 1380) , gearboxes, carbs, wiring looms, 2 sets of alloys, brakes are there , suspension is there, I even have a load of superfluous parts from a mini clubman estate that will go with it all.
The engine I have fitted is an 1100 with twin carbs, sw5 cam, duplex timing, ported head and it was good for 110mph in the clubby estate i had, so in this that weighs half the weight of the estate.... well, you get the idea that you are gunna need pants to be absorbent and firmly fitted .
Now i could spend an entire day searching out all of the parts into one place, taking a metric s**t ton of photos of everything, or I can throw it all in the buggy and take a picture of that.
I do have a picture of what it could look like upon completion. You may ask why don’t I split and make a load more on it, well, time is that cruel mistress that holds me back in that regard .
Pm me,ask me questions, don’t offer me a tenner and another car. I don’t take sexual favors either not partial to any offer that may be classed as offensive, crude,insulting or damn right foolish, the price is the price, or you can pay me more , I wont be offended if you do that!
