I need to paint a seat cowl I have obtained for my 99' hayabusa.
I need to paint it copper bronze. Any idea what colour primer I would need - I know that I need one for use on plastics.

Yellow tinted primer would be best IMHO for ease of coverage with basecoat. Think the code is 5453 buff yellow mate
copper colour should go over nicely mate

Ask the paint supplier, a lot of the copper colours seem to go over a black base.

Anybody know where I can get a copper bronze aerosol in the uk? RS paints do it but with postage and Vat a 400 ml can works out at £29.
Plus I need clear coat and primer - you won't be that far away from having it done professionally.

Place called alpha paint supplies, based in peterlee in County Durham, mixed aerosols are £11 but are all mipa paints, same as what you buy in litres for a gun, really good quality and the paint match is bang on, 500ml cans too, 99% certain they post aswell
