So in December me (Ed) and my partner Michelle purchased this little gem. Suzuki Cappuccino. Since then we serviced it cam-belt and water pump. Had a little issue with the radiator fan not working... Nothing but a little cleaning of the connectors on the relay and snapped back into life. Recently now we are happy with the car and it's being all good and reliable we have purchased a few little bits for it. These thanks to Donna (fuzz) Got some American import number plates for it also. And a rear strut brace thanks to Andy (doodle....something) Hopefully getting the wheels refurbished (in white) And will be looking at the brakes also! Shall update once I start hitting the work.

When we bought the car our reverse light and fog light weren't working... Turned out that moisture had got the better of the internals. So we got some new lights and fitted them along with some new mesh

My mk5 escort was a tighter fit. This gives me an idea, I'm going to start a trolley park thread in the general section :-)

J import plates are what you need mate, difference being they are 13" wide vs the US 12" wide

I shall see how they sit. But I did sum up the sizes. But it's always different in the flesh.

That is a cool little motor... I like these super-small soft tops from the Orient and this is no exception!

It's brilliant the roof panels are removable. You can have it as a T-top, targa or a full convertible. Which is brilliant because the British weather is normally terrible... So you can have the roof dependant on the weather..... And your skills to rebuild the roof in quick time under pressure.

So I got a text from Ed saying I had a consultation with Double S in cullumpton, a stainless steel exhaust specialist. I drove down there for the appointment and they had a look at the rotten old exhaust. I explained I wanted a more sporty purr to the exhaust but no annoying boy racer farting noise. Later that day I came back to a custom built stainless steel pipe from the catalytic converter back. Look at the art work they created. What a sound it replies too. I am very happy with it!

That looks great, not thought to come under the subframe with the exhaust. I'm quite a few steps behind you but hopefully catching up. nice to see another on RR. Plans?

It's my toy when I'm home and Michelle's main car so nothing to drastic performance wise. Will want to keep it reliable. Just an N1 chip running about 1-1.2 bar. Maybe some visual mods a spoiler and front splitter.
I' have a list as long as my arm of things I want and need doing. Fortunately we set a budget for our car and decided to buy a little more expensive to hopefully save on epic rust treatment bills.
I hope you keep progressing on with yours once you've welded and treated it it'll be a solid car.
You'll be back to that cheeky grin behind the drivers seat of 64bhp of pure happiness soon

Yes it is turbo'd I'm saving up for an N1 ECU which takes the 85mph restrictor off and supposedly gives you about 20% more power with a boost control valve. But it's 500 quid so it's not cheap. But will take it from it's mighty 64bhp to maybe around 70 or more I don't no the figures.
