I want to shorten my lower part of my top mounts, because my coilovers bottom out, it means I could wind up my height on the coilovers to regain some travel or for a show, drop lower.
I cant see any issue with doing this, I know more thread will stick out the top, and on the concerto that takes me very close to the bonnet (I've already lifted the rear by one washer) but has anyone done this, I refuse to pay £?'s for the adjustable top mounts just to gain a cm or 2

What about converting the struts to adjustable spring seat and fitting stiffer springs?
