Hi All ,
Are there any Senator enthusiats around?
My 12v 1991 Senator decided that it would randomly blow its gearbox fuse today - just before I got the car this exact thing happend to teh previous owner . he let the battery get flat and then when he recharged it - it blew the fuse - he had it taken to a garagae and had teh fuse replaced and codes reset
Today I put the recharged battery on teh car - and blow me teh fuse popped - after 3 attempts at this I have decided not to put a 4th fuse in - Anyone have any ideas or had this exact thing happen to them ?
I am wondering if it is the battery as it has just been recharged - any ideas or things to check would be great as i would rather check things before adding to the list
Also on another note - I found a "random wire" near the alternator - blue and green in colour witha spade on it - just hanging there - I am pretty sure this is unrelated as i took the car out yersterday without finding were this reconnects and there was no problems .
Any enturseasts in teh house?
Also does anyone know were I can access the "plug" to read my fault codes?
Regards
Sam
