Sadly last Tuesday I was happily driving along when some curse word in a corsa punted into the back of me. Cue the car going completely sideways and I ended up hitting a lamp post and spinning the car a few times. Quite lucky I hit it tbh as if i'd have missed it i'd have gone down a 30ft banking.

Anyway few pics - the inner wings are bent across so not repairable without jigging it and thats not worth it.









I'm already on the case to find another. If anybody knows of any going cheap please let me know.

If the anal beard that hit you whacked you hard enough to do that much damage to a Volvo 300 (as strong as they are fugly) how in the name of tuesday's greek curse word did the Corsa survive well enough to carry on driving.

Friend of mine got shunted in a morris minor. The Saxo that hit him tried to curse word off but bled its coolant dry (cracked radiator) trying to escape. My mate then caught up with the (turned out to be uninsured and underage) little curse word and had him done for leaving the scene of an accident.

It`ll never be the same again, but you could try tying the bent inner win to a strong fence and reversing until its more or less back in shape then panel it up with second hand bits. Might be worth a try even if its just to get you mobile till you find another one.

The Corsa didnt do that damage.

Basically what happened was I was driving fairly steadily as the volvo had matador ditch finder tyres which I hadnt had time to change so handled like a shopping trolley. The corsa came flying up behind me as I was going round a corner, skidded and hit the drivers side rear corner of the volvo. This caused me to spin and I went up the kerb and hit a lamp post. He just drove round me and sped off.

I've scrapped the car already I don't need a car at the minute to get to work or anything so gonna be patient and find a good one.

What a shame, that was a nice volvo, particularly liked the interior.

Amazing that someone will ram you, watch you whang into a lamp post then just rag off without even stopping.

For me thats justification enough to imprison indefinitley all barry corsa drivers.

I only got the first 3 which was A12 and thats cos i've got half of his front number plate lol. Obviously a private reg, and my dads a police man luckily so hes finding out about the car and we're gonna go get some cash.

Thats probably enough, you`ll probably find the f*cker from that, cant be many Corsas around that start with A12, in fact, in seems familiar somehow and I`ve just looked at your location, I`ve probably seen it around.

2 forum cars trashed, Starlet and now a Volvo. NOT good.

Think though, that volvo waited years and years to save its occupants in a crash. Atleast it died happy.

I'm well impressed with how it stood up to the impact. My mate hit a lamp post at a similar speed in a mg zr and he got hurt quite a lot.

LOL. Funny thing is a british transport police 4x4 came round the corner literally 30 seconds after the accident. Asked if they'd seen the corsa and they said "yeh he came speeding past" so I asked if they got the reg, and they said "no we couldn't go after him anyway". They then got all arsey when they asked if i'd had a drink and I said i'd had a pint of shandy about 2 hours earlier, saying I was liable to be over the limit lol. Took the breath test and it didnt even show up.
