Hello Folks.
We have here my 1975, twin sliding, late bay.
Its a 1600, single port, twin carb with an electronic ignition.
Its on a red 9 coilover set up on the front and dropped a spline on the rear, sitting on some Merc SLK alloys with brand new tyres with a short shift CSP shifter so there's a bit less no mans land when changing gear.
The clocks read about 56k, and in my 3 years of ownership i've probably only added about 1000 to that.
Hence why its for sale.
When I bought the van it was bare inside, so i've fitted it with a full width rock and roll bed, an overhead storage locker, and a few other bits and pieces.
Its ply-boarded/insulated throughout.
Its got a leisure battery fitted that powers the lights/sound system.
Its has small LED lights hooked up on either side and a large light over head, all of which are connected to switches.
ICE wise, it has a sony headunit with AUX output, a sub built into a custom enclosure (its very well hidden) a hidden 1000watt amp, and 2x 6 x 9's on the boarding of the RnR bed.
The floor is a wood effect laminate.
I think thats the lot, it currently has tax and MOT till October.
Its ready and waiting to be personalised, as the ply-board is bare, and currently there is no carpet in the cab.
Advert update, 21/07/14 - I've fitted a brand new bosch alternator this week, as the bearings went in the old one.
I also thought i'd add some points about the van for the new perspective buyer to be aware of...
The engine does drip some oil (as they all do)nothing excessive.
The paintwork isnt the best, (it needs touching up in places, but I have paint leftover and its also easily sourced if you need more)
The fuel gauge does not work, (always kept the van topped up)
And finally, there is a bit of filler in the drivers door, and also some on the bodywork. (this was not done by me, however I would not class the van as rusty, its really quite solid)
Advert Update 11/08/14
Fresh MOT as of today!! + Fixed the speedo.
Price wise i'm looking for £6400.
Enjoy some pictures.
