Hi all
Can any body recommend (or tell an idiot) what to put on my air line to catch moisture?
I have a compressor that is in my workshop, this has a machine mart combined pressure regulator, oiler and moisture bottle thingy on it. However i have to run an airline to the front of my house about 200 feet to the car i am working on. I leave this flexable pipe out all year and when i went to use it the other day i thought i had water powered tools for about 5 mins...HELP!!!

Get a reel and pack the hose away when your not using it

Can you run the pipe up or down hill with a second water trap at the low end? Or ive seem some where close to the end (house in your case) they have a vertical rise with a water tap at the bottom feed in low level and take off higher up about 1.5m that apparently works well.

Easiest way to solve this problem is to buy a blow gun, if you've not already got one. They're v.cheap and actually very handy as well. When working with the long hose after not having touched it for a while just use the blow gun to clear the water and then switch to whatever tool you wanted to use.
