Thanks all.. The escort is running a 2L pinto on twin 40's with type 9 5 speeds so isnt a bad little drive.... needs lsd next  The pop100 i was planning on xflow or pinto but decided to stay standard with the sidevalve engine. It come with alot of parts, and its my first restoration as such so its quite fun doing it, shame its on my front garden and not in a nice garage to do all the work |

Took it to Three Sisters end of last summer and it was to soft and the steering isnt right due to anti roll bar set up pushing wheels back in the arch like on the pic below, so ordered some new bits to solve that issue:    Freshing it up over winter... Covered legs to coil overs, with 200lb springs which are quite harsh with rubber roller bearing top mounts   Fitted new pistons and sorted the crappy siezed brakes and got the discs skimmed:   Fitted a LSD so slides everywhere now!!  Fitting some Spottys:  Fitted Single leafs springs on the back with blocks. Adjustable shocks on the rear Polybushed front and back Still need to move battery in boot, sort alternator, get a hi torque started and getting the carbs set up on the rolling road for this spring The Pop hasnt been touched for ages  escort swallowing all my time and money.. few pics below:       _________________________________________________ |
