The black car belongs to Felix, but it's not a 944 - it's a 924 Carrera GT replica. The back has bubble arches rather than the box ones of the 944, and the engine is a 924 Turbo (with a genuine CGT top mount intercooler). Very nicely assembled too. Mine is the silver car hiding behind it, and this is the first RRG photo I've seen it in, so had to post.  Great photos too - really brings home the quality and eclectic mix of machinery. Apparently in the interests of pedantry, this; is actually an RX-2 with the rotary engine. The Capella 616 was the piston-engined version. But really my ulterior motive for quoting this pic is that it has a tiny sliver of my car in the background and out of all the photos in all the Gathering threads, that's the only photographic evidence my car actually made it. *sob*  everyone hates my vulgar modern plastic car *sniff* |

Ah hah! I've just been trying to find more about the RX2, I couldn't decide which it was as I hadn't taken more pics. However I've just noticed the rotor-shaped badge on the side. Doh again (Your car was nice too by the way!) I'm updating all the EXIF info on each pic as I learn more and am corrected, so they should eventually be right in the gallery if not in this thread |

Some really great pics in your collection Keith will be chuffed you got him in the Lasupra - I'm pretty sure in all the events he's run he's never got on track before....
