Can anyone recommend someone good for doing a twin carb rebuild? Ideally around London/Surrey/Middlesex etc.
The carbs were all set up nicely but then due to lack of use and the car being left out the carbs have now seized up, corroded inside, and need a strip down and rebuild.
Any suggestions?

I would seriously think about doing it yourself.I rebuilt mine, with the help of the relevant book. I' m a bit of a mechnanical idiot and even I managed it. Takes time, which for someone else equals money.....

I've rebuilt 40's in the past - not difficult. You just need to be methodical and work in a nice clean environment where you can lay all your parts out carefully. Photograph things as you go to help remind you where they fit!
