H = RS 75 = 1975 AB = ? 1007 = Alloy Wheel GA = Capri ? The wheels are (i believe) Dove Grey with Polished Outers, they have Flat Nut Centres, i originally thought they were MK2 Escort RS2000's, now i think i am wrong, are they rarer variants for a Capri? Any help appreciated.

AB = Escort 75 = first year that model variant used, GA is level of part. you were correct, MK2 escort....
There should be another circle on one of the four spokes with a month/year number stamped too. Obviously better if they are all same manufacture date, also concours boys like to match them to the date of car.

The other spoke says 2 85, i am confused by this? Unless they are later release wheels special order or something? As the MK2 didn't run to 85?

2/85 suggests capri laser ......
But I would have thought they would have taper seat wheelnut recess.
I'll do a bit of digging and get back to you.

The RS Part numbers refer to Capri, but the lack of taper seats have confused a lot of people, the conclusion for the time being is that they are fancied up laser alloys probably offered in the Ford Accessory shop, i sort of assumed the fact they have the 85 date on them, they might have spruced them up a bit for a re-release?
