As it says ^^ got 16" compomotives on the 924 at the moment but have a spare set of the original 14" alloys with new tyres. These have been painted in satin black by the PO, look okay but would like a polished lip to break them up a bit. Would this be achievable by carefully removing the paint from the lip and polishing with a dremel or similar? Or do I get them blasted and done professionally? Many thanks for any input  any pics for inspiration would be a huge bonus  |

 I managed to go from a similar state as the wheel on the left, to the one on the right in around 20 minutes using some discs you can get for an angle grinder, Ratta used to sell them on here. Bevel discs I think they were. With a bit more finesse/practice, I think a mirror finish wasn't far away. Need to do mine again after the professionals screwed them up, lacquer peel. |

could try the redneck wheel lathe lol
car on a axle stand and sandpaper /polish the lip - carefull with your fingers/car falling off stands /fire and explosions etc etc
