So i Found this Little Metro a couple of miles from my home where it had been sat on the owners drive since 2001, the owner has passed away and i bought it from her daughter, every thing available but the 4 tyres that were on the car are cracked although they hold air (i would not use them on the road) the spare is very good but old,
the keys had been lost years ago so no lock set i afraid, the engine has 56.686 miles on it,
i have fitted a new cambelt, tensioner, battery and fresh petrol and she runs sweet, ran it up to temp and it stayed there, the cooling system was still holding coolant after 13 years,
4 Speed gearbox
the car has rust in the floor, front subframe mounts, inner and outer sills, and the scuttle panel has disintegrated, the rear arches are in good condition strangely ?
bonnet doors and boot are rust free,
before i cleaned it
and after
i might sell the car as a whole if your mad enough to want all that welding, other wise its for spares
