Bored, wanna build somthing
Cars all stripped down to shell, so perfect time to put a cage in
It's a k10 micra
Want to know what diameter cds tube to use
How thick should the plates be that I weld it to?
Anything else?

Where are you? If you're a half decent welder, I can recommend Caged in Frome (http://www.cagedlaser.com/). They did a very good deal for a 'kit of parts' for the roll cage for my rally car. As long as they have the 'plan', they can cut and bend the individual pieces and then you 'diy' weld the cage together. Our eight point cage was about two thirds the price of the cheapest 'pre-built' one for a much higher quality and stronger cage. Top result. Here's mine after it was completed...

Even with the bits couriered across, I bet Caged would be cheaper. Mind you, you'd miss out on a chance to see their amazing workshop!
