All of my car's get a name (lowrider style), but this one hasn't come to me straight away like the rest. Might be something to do with having it on the road for only 2 months out of the the 6 I've owned. Well with the recent "love" on autoshite and on the classic Audi forum it's going to be called 'Some Kinda Hate' a song by a band called The Misfits. Sums it up really

I spotted it too and tried to put em right.... Cheers dude. I don't understand the page. Do they just post pics then slag it off? In fairness, the FB page and the forum are two seperate 'things' with different attitudes, and I've never really liked the FB side. There's plenty of RRers on the actual forum, and well-modified cars do get appreciated, but you need a thick skin .

Pretty much. I only spotted it as for some reason your barge popped up on my feed. That lots posts never usually appear! Spooky!!! Lol I was gonna leave the "group" then clocked your car so thought I'd stay lol

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

But won't be joining any new forums as there in decline now. It would have to be very special to get me to join

Cheers mate and people who don't like my cars don't bother me, they fuel me if anything!! To be fair I haven't started the mods yet, apart from a shrunken head on the rear view mirror it's exactly how I bought it (apart from a fully rebuilt top end!!).

Who did the head rebuild ? Where did you get the parts? And what spec did you rebuild to? Thanks in advance Skimmed/pressure tested and valves squeezed through a mate at my local motor factors, via Rotherham Rebores. Then a local mechanic rebuilt it. Parts were from All German parts in Leeds again through a mate.

So my fellow Scene Misfitz brother sorted me out with a fuel line from a 16v mk1 golf yesterday (after 2 previous failed attempts and him travelling over both times from Bradfoed to mine and then onto my mechanics). It started after 2 turns of the key and sounded awesome!!! So to celebrate we cruised!!

I love how small it makes a B3 look.
The car has a real yank vibe to it, the horn and a little tyre squeel if you give it some beans from the lights.
Having a look round it today I think bandies won't be happening as there isn't much room between the rear arch and the wheel. Unless I get something like space savers for it banded???
