I would like to learn MIG welding and metal shaping-Leics

So, not a very catchy title for a first post but it captures what I need. I would like to learn a bit of welding and panel forming. Anyone willing to teach me these skills in or near Leicester?

If you want to learn metal forming at it's best, have a look at threads by tonybmw....I used to restore high end classics, and his work is as high a standard as any in the industry...

Have you looked at the courses offered locally?

I did an introduction to welding at the college. Cost £35

They cover all skills

Jimin, the fee for cheapest welding course at my local college is £500 (google leicester coded welding certificate). Whist useful, 500 sounds like a lot of cheese to me. Which college did you go to. It might be worth looking it up.

PS Tonybmw has been in touch and I am trying to get meself a masterclass...but thats more for the spring. It would be great to go to school in the next few weeks.

#1 - You don't need the coded welding course. Generally, these cover the ASMEIX bits and pieces you need for structural stuff these days.
