Hi, just thought I'd ask, what does everyone make of them? Bad idea, good idea etc. ? Reason I'm asking is I've been offered a brand new set of wheels for a silly low price, but the pcd is 4x101.6 and the pcd for my car is 4x100 and this is the sort of thing they're for I'm guessing Does anyone have any horror stories or experience with these? Thanks!

Worked a treat on the Passat 2.8 4wd i ran a few years ago and that was 112 to 115. For the 101.6 to 100 pcd change you are talking about the actual change is only .8 of a mm as its halved across the diameter. So it really is a small amount. As with all wheel bolts make sure you get the seating angle right.

Remember spigot rings to correct the difference in spigot size and you should be fine.

Post some pics of the wheels (4x101.6mm = 4x4" - same as an Imp)

They're fine providing you have proper spigot location to line the wheel up.
You need to check that the bolt holes in the wheel are large enough and they are a conical seat. A lot of 4x4" stuff is for minis etc which tend to use sleeve nuts lo locate and will have a flat seat rather than 60" taper. Mini studs are really skinny so the bolt holes are usually tiny, so theres a good chance you won't have enough room to get the bolts through, let alone have enough space to allow the misalignment.
Also check that the wheel actually has a properly machined center bore to locate the wheel, a lot of 4x4" stuff doesn't.

I used wobble nuts without centre bore location, lined it up by eye by looking through the centre bore hole as I nipped the nuts up, and never had any issues with wobbles/balance/nun killing.

Post some pics of the wheels (4x101.6mm = 4x4" - same as an Imp) It's these, and thanks I wondered what used that pcd.. They're from extreme offset wheels, they offered them to me for £95 for a set of 4 which is a lot cheaper than usual
