Over the years I have had a bit of a soft spot for Metro's, my first decent car was an MG Metro Turbo back in 1985 and I have rallied and rallycrossed various MG Metro's and Rover Metro Gti's. Whilst idly looking at Ebay I discovered this local to me.
This Metro is really original even down to dealer number plates, needs a bit of laquer on the roof sorting a bit of surface rust on drivers door, brakes need new rear wheel cylinders and I need to find reason for the intermittent misfire.
When I picked car up it was missing the wheel trims but in the boot was an Autoplas box with brand new ones in.
The interior is great complete with genuine mats and a period radio, that maybe the original, with a slot I can't get my CD's in and a ticking noise when the engine is running
Looking at the paperwork the 13800 miles seems to be genuine.
