Hello, Can anyone help identifying this piston sets? I think this is very old ford engines, I don't know anyone expert on this... Set 1: Set 2: They are both 8 pistons with rings brand new in each set, old old old stock. Did I mention old? Maybe I mean ancient... Thanks, Igor Neves

Hi, both are for the Ford flathead V8. The first set are from the 221 cu.in. (3.6 l) 85 or 90 hp engine and the second set are from the smaller 136 ci (2.2 l) 60hp engine. The second set look as though they are marked at +0.060" oversize.

Does this have any value? I need to sell this and don't have a clue!

Hi, the 221ci pistons are still widely available as new old stock for £65 to £80 a set. The 136ci pistons are rare here as this engine was never sold in the UK, as far as I know. They were used in the French Ford Vedette, Matford, Simca Vedette, Ariane and others of that ilk.
