My housemate is looking to get some exhaust work done, was just wondering if anyone knew anywhere decent it could be done, in Kent?
Have been to Maidstone Exhaust Centre and Powerspeed in Ashford but both quoted more than he was looking to pay.
Ideally was looking to find a smaller metalwork company or somebody local confident with tig welding who could do it, if anybody knows of anyone?
Its a duplex system but he's just looking to get the backboxes removed...

I have spoken to Alan. Nice chap. I'm taking my car next week for a price up. Centre section to back box around £500. Hope this gives you an idea.

There's also Zero exhausts in Folkestone I believe. Seen a few of their jobs at work over the years and looks very good quality  |

I had the exhaust on the Triumph made by Zero, beautiful work and probably no more expensive than any one else.
A wait for him to fit me in though, the MGB race car he spanners on needed some panel bashing after a “incident” and this took priority over earning money (top man!) and when I went to get the estimate, an Aston Martin DB4 GT was on the lift!
He also sorted a couple of little problems he found while under the car fitting the exhaust, free of charge!
No longer in Folkstone, but a Google will get his present address.
Very pleased, if only I could find someone like him to sort the rest of the car!
