Back in the day, a mate gave me one of these, and I ragged it about for a while before selling it to a guy in Plymouth for £100. Looking back now, I'm sort of kicking myself, it was a really unusual car, 4-door, 5-speed 1.6 rwd, with that chintzy oriental thing going on, with greeny-silver paint and some tasteful 80s J velour inside. I reckon it could have been cool as. Has anyone seen one, or better yet got pics of one?

Couple over here in Ireland running twin cam toyota running gear. Bolts straight in apparently as I believe they were based on a Corolla. There's one here near me running a Lexus V8 as well.

Don't know if you'll manage to find one, but here's some inspiration if you do.

Bolf on here had one. Its a rebadged Toyota corolla DX
Not cheap in the slightest, unless you find an old biddy who's had it in the garage forever and you knock on the door.

Balls, knew I shouldn't have flogged it! It was brilliant and awful at the same time - it gave you no notice that the back was going to step out whatsoever. Tried to kill me many, many times. It also had some great alloys, although they'd been on so long that I had to jump it over a little bridge with loose wheelnuts to get the rears off!

Hirst's old one hasn't had an MOT since 2010 according to the DVLA I sold it to Hirst. Great fun car to drive. Entertainingly sideways with ancient rubber, even with a puny engine. Real potential. One of a long list of 'really shouldnt have sold that' cars.

I've still got it! The car, not my marbles. They departed years ago.

Mine definitely didn't go that well... It did however do that snapping from side to side, but mostly only when you weren't expecting it. That vid made me feel I'd made a terrible mistake selling it, right up to the point the Capri appeared in the shot. That's made me feel a lot better about my current car choices. Now all I need to do is get it running again...
