Anyone go?
It was absolutely packed, you couldn't move. They also ran out of catalogues which was a bit of a pain.
However... there was some superb cars going through. My pick was a '71 Fiat 124 coupe, silver with a perfect claret velour interior. Estimate was 12k but that's one very rare car. There were two spotless Metros, one an early MG, the other a mint 1.3S. 17 cars came from a private collection including 4 pristine Capris, pick of the four a mk3 3.0S. Back in the real world plenty of useable cars going through at sub 2k, but no space and no money meant I was only there to take notes today.
Far too many people and no programme means I'm a bit sketchy on info, decided to wait for the results on the ACA website, and worse still no pictures, but the ACA website has a complete list of items with loads of pics if you fancy checking out the porn that is that Fiat's velour interior. Mmmmmmm velour.

It was listed in this weeks Classic Car Weekly , they had apparently got a record breaking selection of lots going through. Well over 200, I think they said 231 at time of printing, with more being invited

It was listed in this weeks Classic Car Weekly , they had apparently got a record breaking selection of lots going through. Well over 200, I think they said 231 at time of printing, with more being invited Record breaking entry, few pulled out but well over 200 lots, and a record breaking crowd I expect. The old girl in the tea bar was freaking out poor thing, said it's the busiest she'd ever seen it. They're going to need a bigger hall if they squeeze any more punters in! First time I'd been to Lynn, and apart from being too busy so no catalogues I was very impressed. Plenty of money changing hands, few Ferraris and Mustangs going through for big bucks, and plenty of rarities. Even the drive in the snow across the desolation of Norfolk was fun, we took my mate's Subaru Forester Turbo S, too salty and slippery for my E30. My buy today would have been a tidy original '79 520i in silver (est £2k) or a white W123 230E (est £1250). Neither was perfect but both looked respectable, original and fairly light rolling projects. Money no object I'd have gone for the cherry red Mercedes pagoda, one of three pagodas today and the best by a mile - est £40 - £50k. There was a white 420 R107 estimated sub £4k, 201k miles but newish hood and fairly tidy. That's a cheap 107.

Didn't go, a bit of a trek with two kids and a Mrs who take great interest in cars too, especially in the snow!!
Money no object? '65 Fastback, '57 Zodiac or a '66 Volvo Amazon.
Unfortunately, kids and dailies take tooooooo much of my money!

one of the mustangs was being sold by a customer of mine. not sure but i think it was the '64. good car for the money.
a lot of the reserves/estimates are laughable though, some of the cars in question would never make those values.
