It was a while ago but I think it was only one full coil but it could have possibly been two. Start with one and see how you go. Is yours the 1.3 8v? The exhaust runs under the sump and will be your lowest point. I used to catch mine pulling off my drive and the occasional speed bump. Other than that and rolling the rear arches to squeeze the banded steels on I had no issues with the suspension Yep 14'' banded steels. The corolla is 4x100 so theres a huge selection of wheels available oh and golf vr6 front splitter has the perfect profile for the curved edges of the front bumper but will need trimming in the centre to fit [br hi yea it's the 1.3 8v...iv cut 1 and half off the front and 1 coil of the rears.just gotta heat the very last coil so it sits in the cup properly... did you ever have any problems with hot starting???

I did, when it was warm sometimes it would just crank and crank then finally fire. Changing the dizzy and points sorted mine I think. It was a few years ago now so I'm a bit sketchy on the details but basically a good engine service should see you right

and heated the very last coil so it sits in the seat properly I'd say ensure you source a spare pair of springs idc as heating is going to have altered the properties of the metal so it's no longer "springy" and therefore don't be surprised if it breaks at that point ! Might also be part of the problem you are having with ride over bumps.
