Iv had a look on the Internet but Iv not really found the info I'm looking for.
I need a decent front brake upgrade for the mk2 Granada without spending £1000 on some hispecs.
I do have some Sierra cosworth 4 pot front calipers from the upgrade on my cosworth. Will they fit and if do what discs do I need?
Any help appreciated.
Ben

Rather than looking for different brakes.just upgrade what you have... upgrade the pads to you driving style..daily driving will use different pads to hard braking all the time.. braided brake lines will improve things..aftermarket master cylinder...brake bias kit.. depends on what your looking to get out of your brakes ...

what was the base car? the best standard set up was 2.8i with vented dics and the larger M16B calipers which have the same bolt pattern as Mk2 escort and there are shed loads of caliper options for them and grooved/drilled discs are available, the only trouble i can see is the disc being 5 bolt instead of the escort 4 will be harder to find, you "may" need to mod the hubs for discs that fit outside like sierra/scorpio instead of behind like the cortina/capri? Have a google for TVR 390/400 brake upgrades
350i and 280i - Granada solid disc with M16B calipers. 390SEs - Granada vented disc with M16B calipers. 400/450SE - same as 390SE but with 4 pot AP caliper.

It's for a 2.0 mk2 Granada that Iv put a bmw 3.0 d in so it needs to stop really. It's only got sold discs on the front and drums on the rear. The rear isn't really an issue but the front us and the current calipers are sticking too so it needs an upgrade really.

As said above, an upgrade to the 2.8 vented setup will be an improvement. Lasted for at least 10years on mine with genuine discs and EBC green stuff pads and the rears just adjusted properly Or you could do the upgrade like mine with BMW discs and calipers, but they will need some brackets and machining work doing to fit
