Where do the French buy and sell their cars?

I often browse ebay both here and abroad to see what cars are out there for me to invest my pennies in, and very often i look to different markets for specific cars, for example i've got a hankering for a Moskvitch Aleko, and a Ford Taunus fastback, so i browse through the German ebay site... Incidentally, typing in 'Oldtimer' into German ebays cars section always seems to bring up some treasures that i've never seen before, like tonights find, a 1975 VW Passat 2-door! I'm sure those in the know will have seen one before, but i've not seen one... (Its ebay item# 261765178794 if you're interested) Anyway, i'm getting off the point here. I've also got a hankering for a Talbot Tagora, so i browse French ebay. Now, unless i'm doing it wrong i can only ever find about 200 cars in total when i browse French ebay, so where do the French sell their cars? Presumably they use another site, does anyone know what it's called?

My folks live in France, they use this site a fair bit - seems to be much more of a 'thing' than eBay. (Probably because it's free to list and you don't have to register...)

Lets play a game, can anyone guess what it means when in the middle of a vehicle description they put the abbreviation 'K7' ?

I bought all three of my cars on leboncoin, very good site. Also, search on leparking.fr: it searches on many European small ads sites and though it has a few issues it's very useful.

I'd assume cassette (tape deck), but that could nowadays be extrapolated to mean CD player or sat nav or space ship?

Haha yes it's a tape deck, K7 is pronounced cah-set As for other European ad sites, I know that the Spanish equivalent of leboncoin is segundamano.es, the Swedish version is blocket.se, and the Italian one is subito.it!

i know this because berendd buys things for me off there then sends them over either with the very cheap and very efficient dutch postal service (17 euros to send a diff and it came next day!) or with mr UtterPiffle, who very kindly brought me my new rear seat for my merc in last week

yes I know, much choice but marktplaats is the biggest, just not the source for cheap wheels and cars as these are paid categories, i generally use kapaza, speurders or tweedehands for those.
