Hello just thought I'd share my bargain insurance policy price I got with Peter Best Insurance Services I'm 26, no NCB, no points or crashes. Living in London SW15 My car: Mercedes C250TD Wagon, alloys declared. They checked and deemed it a classic as it is over either 10 or 15 years old, can't remember. 4000 mile policy, fully comprehensive, garaged, it's my second car (company car is my main vehicle). Had to provide my Mercedes Benz Owners Club (MBOC) membership number, total anual policy: £152. (£200 excess). I was lost for words on the phone with the lady.. Because comparethemeercat wanted £850!
Just thought I'd share that with y'all, they specialise in $x$, classics, mods etc. Wooooo

rudest company i talked to out of at least a dozen. informed me 'we don't really cover those types of car' (a bmw e30 and a mercedes w115) then proceeded to tell me to go on the website and print out a form, fill it in and post it to them?! dunno whether that was just a ploy to get rid of me or whether they really are that backwards...

Ah the lady asked if I was a member of any clubs and I said the Merc one because it might make the policy cheaper, which it did but club membership was £38 lol..
It sounded like they just employ some telephone operatives and theres a few managers and thats it.
The automated telephone service has different options for classic / modern / etc car policies.

I went with Lancaster-I'm a bit older (er, actually twice your age), with a rural(ish) postcode and the car parked on the road- it was£90 which I thought was good. Yours is exceptional.

I'm about to use Go Girl for the third time because they keep wiping the floor with everyone else on quotes.
Mid-eighties car, heavily modified, engine swap, coilovers et cetera and they only want £270. I presumed that (as they don't advertise modified insurance) they'd want a kidney but the best the price comparison sites could come up with was nearly £700!
The (stock) Metro was just over £300.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum
