The radio in my Audi works but the tape player doesn't.
I wondered if anybody repairs these as I want to run my iPod thru the original stereo as it sounds awesome.
Either that or linking up a suitcase build but in fitting withy car using an 80's briefcase.

Most probably just a broken drive belt. Not impossible to fix as a little DIY project

But a cassette adapter wouldn´t use a working belt - would it? I've only tryed a normal tape in and it doesn't stay that's the problem. Haven't even tryed the adaptor

Wireless transmitters that I know "work like" a radio station. mps sounds are "put in" to the radio by an aerial adapter and you have to tune in to a certain frequency to hear them. Your cassette has been ejected? You put it in and it doesn't hold it there
